Statiflo's New European Sales Manager Axel Schmidt

Statiflo Gears Up: Statiflo has appointed a dedicated European sales manager as the company gears up for Brexit.

Axel Schmidt has been recruited to spearhead growth on the continent as Britain prepares to leave the EU.

Axel, aged 46, has joined Statiflo from Pentair, where he was sales manager for northern and central Europe.

Statiflo’s sales director Ron Russ said: “Axel has a tremendous record in sales and an excellent engineering background, with experience of working in a number of the industries that we supply.

“He will play a key role as we bolster our European business in the run-up to Brexit, by focusing on developing our position in the German market and other European countries, by recruiting new business partners and by targeting sectors where we see strong expansion opportunities.”

Axel, who is based in Frankfurt, said: “I’m delighted to join Statiflo and lead its European sales operations. There are fantastic opportunities for growth across a range of industries.”
