You may well remember our story from 2014 introducing what is possibly the largest static mixer in the world. The mixer, a staggering 8.5m wide and 7m deep, has now been installed in a final effluent channel for chlorination/disinfection at a wastewater treatment works in Stonecutters Island, Hong Kong. It was specially prepared with a frame built for purpose to allow for easy installation, and removal for maintenance, in one entire piece.
