We were thrilled to honor four of our outstanding US business partners at the recent WEFTEC 2022 conference and trade show for their exceptional performances over the past year.

WEFTEC is the world’s largest event for the wastewater industry, drawing together professionals and thought leaders from across the industry.

Taking place in New Orleans in early October, this was the Water Environment Federation’s 95th annual technical exhibition and conference.

Statiflo was represented by technical director Carl Wilkinson, sales director Paul Buck, Lou Mattaliano, vice-president sales and marketing for Statiflo Corp, the North American arm of Statiflo group, and Rebecca Gernetzke, technical sales – project manager for Statiflo Corp.

The award winners were chosen by Statiflo Corp’s management team and the prizes were handed out by Lou.

He said: “Usually, we present one award to the water and wastewater industry manufacturer’s representative of the year.

“However, as we have not been at WEFTEC for a few years due to the pandemic, we decided to give out several accolades this year.”

The winners were:
Premier Water/DXP, which received the award for outstanding commitment. The company covers North and South Carolina from its base in Charlotte. Premier had all of its salespeople involved in the sale of Statiflo products, displayed our equipment at local trade shows and showcased our business in seminars to engineers.

California Environmental Controls (CEC), which took the honor for outstanding dedication. CEC is a newer business partner for Statiflo and covers southern California and Nevada.

Lou said: “The company immediately took to our product range and has worked hard to promote Statiflo’s mixers and gas dispersion systems.”

Environmental Technical Sales, Inc, (ETEC), which received the award for exceptional order of the year.

ETEC, based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, covers Louisiana and Mississippi.

Lou said: “ETEC had persevered through a traumatic year with the city of Monroe, which in addition to the fight against Covid was subjected to a tornado, flooding and associated destruction.

Lou hailed ETEC’s success in eventually securing a major order for Statiflo in Monroe following inevitable delays due to the difficulties the city was dealing with.

“ETEC stayed with and supported the city throughout and ultimately obtained the order,” said Lou.

ETEC was a major support sponsor of WEFTEC, as the conference took place right in its ‘back yard’.

Environmental Improvements, Inc, which was crowned Water & Wastewater Manufacturer’s Representative of the Year.

Lou said: “Once again EI2 has produced the most orders for Statiflo, both in number and sales volume.

“All of its offices in Texas and Oklahoma contributed to its success with Statiflo.

“We are proud to have EI2 as our representative in this extremely valuable territory, and look forward to continued success with them.”

Lou said WEFTEC 2022 had been an enormous success and that the Statiflo team had enjoyed meeting and greeting our business partners and other visitors to our exhibition stand.

The event also gave us an opportunity to demonstrate the benefits of our market-leading products.

“We were delighted to back in person at WEFTEC 2022 following the disruption caused by the pandemic,” said Lou.

“As well as being able to speak to customers and potential customers at our booth about our static mixers and gas dispersion system (GDS), the ability to network with engineers, plant personnel and our nationwide business partners was greatly welcome.

“As a result of an industry-wide shift to ozone as the oxidizing agent of choice to remove contaminants, we are experiencing a significant increase in inquiries and orders for our GDS from treatment plants across the United States.

“WEFTEC was the perfect venue to simulate the workings and advantage of our GDS in action with a dynamic display.

“It was also great to for our network of partners to meet key personnel of Statiflo and for us to present awards to our top-performing representatives across the United States.

“We have some of the best technical sales representatives across the country and it was a perfect opportunity to recognize them in front of their peers for their continued commitment to Statiflo.”
