Statiflo in the USA is expanding its product range for the American market with the addition of standard, pre-designed mixers which will be launched at the WEFTEC 2018 exhibition.

The introduction of the S-Type range will create faster lead times for the American market and is aimed at customers working to tight project deadlines.

The move follows Statiflo’s success with the S-Type range of mixers which are already available from its UK and German offices.

Varying in size from two inches to six inches, they come in stainless steel and include an injection nozzle specially positioned to increase the efficiency of the mixing process.

In the water treatment process they can be used for numerous applications, including pH control, coagulation, flocculation and disinfection. They can also be used to mix polyelectrolyte into sludge to improve the efficiency of de-watering applications.

WEFTEC is the world’s largest annual water quality technical conference and exhibition where industry professionals can sample cutting-edge technologies and take advantage of networking and educational opportunities.
This year’s event takes place at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center. The exhibition starts on Monday, October 1 and runs until Wednesday, October 3.

Managing director Gareth Fry, US national sales manager Lou Mattaliano and group business development manager Carl Wilkinson will be manning Statiflo’s stand and explaining to visitors the benefits of the company’s products, including its innovative and highly-efficient ozone gas dispersion system.

Gareth said: “Major industry events such as WEFTEC are an important opportunity for our team to meet existing and potential customers and to showcase our expanding product range.

“These exhibitions have played a key role in helping to drive Statiflo’s recent growth, and we hope to continue this pattern in New Orleans.

“Since the last WEFTEC, we have recruited several new US business partners and secured a significant number of large orders from the water and wastewater treatment industry.

“Our success over the past 12 months gives us confidence that this year’s event will generate further opportunities for Statiflo.”

Gareth said the new standard range of pre-designed mixers will speed up the delivery process.

“As all engineering preparations will be completed before orders are dispatched, it will greatly assist customers working to tight project deadlines,” he said.

He said he anticipates that Statiflo’s gas dispersion system will also be a focal point for visitors to the company’s stand.

“GDS is a highly-efficient system for introducing ozone or other types of gas into a process.

“It’s a lot more efficient than traditional techniques. Our version is a sidestream system and uses a series of our static mixers to achieve the best possible rates of mass transfer,” he said.

“It’s widely used across the globe, being applied for disinfection, odour and colour removal, advanced oxidation processes, micro pollutant treatment and heavy metal removal.

“We are excited to be showcasing this system at WEFTEC and look forward to welcoming new and existing contacts to our stand in Booth 6847 to discuss their requirements.”
