World’s Largest Copper Producer uses Statiflo Mixing Technology

Statiflo Mixing Technology: Statiflo recently secured an order for 18 large diameter DesalMixers from Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction Co for the pre-treatment stage of a 220,000 tons per day RO desalination plant at the coastal city of Antofagasta in Chile.  A 180 km pipeline will deliver water to the Minera Escondida copper mine in the Atacama Desert.

The Statiflo DesalMixers, up to 1200mm diameter, will ensure process optimisation by efficient use of various treatment chemicals in seawater, avoiding overdosing and costly wastage.  For further information, please contact [email protected]
