The forthcoming IFAT exhibition in Munich will hold special significance for Statiflo’s European sales manager Axel Schmidt.

It will be his first international show with the company since he joined last year to spearhead growth in Europe.

IFAT is the world’s leading event for the water, wastewater, sewage and raw materials management sector, attracting more than 130,000 visitors and over 3,000 exhibitors from across the globe.

This year’s exhibition takes place in Munich from May 14-18.

Axel, who is based in Frankfurt, said: “I have exhibited at many international shows across Europe during the course of my career and I’m extremely excited to be at IFAT for Statiflo.

“It will be a great opportunity to meet existing and potential new clients as well as our business partners from across Europe in a single week.

“I will be proud to represent Statiflo, discuss potential new applications for our products and build relationships.”

Axel said he sees huge potential for Statiflo to expand in the water and wastewater industry because the company’s static mixers are custom-made and process engineered to be used in a wide range of applications.

He added: “IFAT 2018 gives us the opportunity to present our smart mixing solutions to optimise existing processes in the water and wastewater treatment sector as well as to discover new trends in project specifications and better understand future market requirements.

“We will be on Stand 108 in Hall C2 and look forward to welcoming visitors during the exhibition.”
