City of Las Vegas takes no gamble and relies on Statiflo’s advanced mixing technology

Statiflo Corp, Dalton, MA has recently supplied to the City of Las Vegas a large channel mixer for chlorine destruction.

The mixer is 5M wide (16 feet) by 4M high (13 feet) and is designed to efficiently mix a 38 to 168 MGD treated waste water outfall stream with sodium bisulfite solution. The mixer is installed in a new concrete chamber that was designed by Black & Veatch, Kansas City. The contractor is JNJ Engineering Construction Corporation. The treated water is then returned to Lake Mead.
